  It doesn't help that they switched the road paint where I live, so if the headlights are too bright it obscures the lines on the road if it rains (it always rains here). I also feel like they got rid of most of the reflectors in the last 5 years. It's just dangerous to drive in the rain or snow now if the lights are too bright.

My wife has an astigmatism and she says they're so bad she can't drive at night because it flashbangs everything around the car in a halo of light. Personally, I think they are obnoxiously bright, but not to the degree that I can't drive. Are there any fixes in the middle that don't involve an outright ban but would help the people who can't see with them on the road?

The previous owners lied about the basement flooding so we had to demo all the drywall and redo our entire basement, then I figured out the ceiling had mold too. We're 10 years into a 1 year remodel because of that. I haven't even started on the fun stuff because of all the mold. Home inspector never caught the mold. I should have the basement done this winter, then I can start on the outside of the house.

They spent money to influence the ACA but they mainly influenced Mitt Romney, Chuck Grassley, Nancy Pelosi, Max Baucus, and Olympia Snowe because Obama was threatening to make insurance companies obsolete. They won that battle but lost the preexisting conditions battle and kept the current for profit insurance market alive. Only 23 CO-OPs failed because of this and it was because they were so poor to begin with.

They do not under any circumstance want an extra FTE on salary with benefits if they can be replaced by a robot, script, intune, or AI agent. That goes for all 7 fortune 500 companies I've worked at, and the 5 medium sized businesses I worked at before that. No one is asking for more regulations behind the scenes unless it's the metal industry.

  As someone whose worked in IT for fortune 500 companies most my adult life, I can tell you that it's false that companies pay to have regulations written. All of them are trying to get rid of them to save on costs. Most the "regulations" they are complaining about are worker and consumer protections and things that require them to hire more people to deal with them. They don't want to pay to have lawyers on retainer or have a risk department. They want to replace everyone with AI.

It uses Vendor ID (VID), Product ID (PID), and Serial Number to identify, whitelist the USB, so no matter how it's plugged in it works because the USB has to broadcast that, if it doesn't it gets black listed by default.
